The Dalai Lama will be travelling abroad on his birthday, 6 July, so on 21 and 22 June, as part of his official 80th Birthday Celebration, His Holiness participated in long-life offering ceremonies organised by the Central Tibetan Administration, Geluk Association and Domey Association at the Main Tibetan Temple in McLeod Ganj.
